Hoffmann Campaign Taps National Democratic Pollster Fred Yang
PROVIDENCE, RI - Democratic candidate for Rhode Island Attorney General Keith Hoffmann today announced two additions to his campaign team, including nationally respected Democratic pollster Fred Yang of Hart Research, one of the country's leading public opinion research firms. Hoffmann also announced that Alexis Carrasco will join the campaign as a special assistant.
Hoffmann previously served on the senior leadership team in the Rhode Island Attorney General's Office under Attorney General Peter Neronha, helping guide major legal and policy initiatives to protect Rhode Islanders.
Yang, the firm's Chief Executive Officer, has more than 35 years of experience in public opinion research and campaign strategy and has advised Democratic candidates and elected officials across the country in statewide and national races.
He is currently advising several high-profile Democratic campaigns across the country.
"Fred is one of the most respected pollsters in the country," Hoffmann said. "His experience and strategic insight will help ensure our campaign stays focused on the issues that matter most to Rhode Islanders."
Yang has worked with leaders including U.S. Senators Chris Van Hollen, Angela Alsobrooks, and Jon Ossoff, as well as Maryland Governor Wes Moore and Attorney General Anthony Brown, and Connecticut Attorney General William Tong.
"Keith Hoffmann has the kind of experience voters want in their next Attorney General," Yang said. "He didn't just work in the office - he helped lead it. That perspective and leadership will matter when it comes to protecting Rhode Islanders and enforcing the law."
Carrasco previously worked in the Press and Legislative offices of U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse. She is a graduate of Marist University.
"Alexis brings valuable campaign and legislative experience to our team," Hoffmann said.
Hoffmann has earned the endorsement of Attorney General Peter Neronha in the Democratic primary. His campaign team includes experienced political and communications professionals working to build a statewide operation focused on protecting Rhode Islanders.
Hoffmann is running for Attorney General to protect consumers, strengthen public safety, and ensure Rhode Island remains safer, stronger, and fairer for all.
