Hoffmann Campaign Announces $269,254 Raised in Q1 2026, $546,568 cash on hand
PROVIDENCE, RI - The campaign to elect Keith Hoffmann as Rhode Island's next Attorney General today announced it raised $269,254 in the first quarter of 2026, marking the campaign's third consecutive quarter of six-figure fundraising. The campaign ended the reporting period with $546,568 cash on hand. This marks the strongest fundraising record for an Attorney General campaign in Rhode Island at this point in the election cycle.
"This campaign is about showing up, doing the work, and delivering results for everyday Rhode Islanders," said Hoffmann. "As Attorney General, I'll focus on protecting people from scams and fraud, promoting public safety, standing up for access to health care, and holding powerful interests accountable when they break the law.
That's the work l've done inside the Attorney General's Office, and it's the work I'll continue on day one."
Attorney General Peter Neronha, who has endorsed Hoffmann, pointed to both his experience and leadership as key to the campaign's strength.
"Keith has spent years inside the Attorney General's office doing and overseeing hundreds if not more than a thousand significant cases, enforcement actions, prosecutions and criminal and civil investigations," said Neronha. "He's done the work - not just himself in the courtroom, but leading teams of lawyers as a unit chief, helping to build our Public Protection Bureau, and serving by my side as a senior Administration official helping to run the entire Office and major cases and policy portfolios."
"Keith saw the threat of the Trump Administration and stepped up, spearheading the work to fight back against federal overreach. It's been extraordinary to appear beside Keith at energetic events all over Rhode Island and make the case that we need to continue this incredibly important work with Keith as our next Attorney General - the only candidate with the experience, ability, and energy to actually get it done," continued Neronha.
The Campaign has received endorsements from various other state officials and community leaders, including Senate Finance Chairman Lou DiPalma, Senator Sam Zurier, Dr. Jodi Glass, B. Joe Reddish Ill, East Greenwich Democratic Town Committee Chairwoman Renu Englehart, and many others committed to building a safer, stronger, and fairer Rhode Island for all of us. The campaign will report its Ql fundraising totals as part of its April filing with the Rhode Island Board of Elections.
